Nintendo
Nintendo is a publisher company founded on September 23, 1889. The main headquarters is located in Tokyo, Japan. Nintendo is well known in the game industry. Alongside with the famous mascot Mario is the company known for over 30 years. The focus for Nintendo is, rather than to focus on high-quality graphics, mainly on the gameplay. It is also not surprising that fans are, among other things, Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby and many others.
History
Surprisingly, the company isn't as old as their dear Mario is. Nintendo started in 1889 as a publisher for play cards. Since then they have been producing those playcards for almost 70 years. In 1956 they wanted to experiment in different sectors than only cards. After some trial and error, they found themselves in an investment for game development, which turned out to be a success! Over time they builded more and more games, such as” Game and watch”, and later on they even created their own hardware.
